BUEM delegation in the days of 17 - 23 May 2023 visited the People's Republic of China as part of a working trip abroad. Within this prestigious working trip, the members of the VŠEM management realized the requested lectures, developed cooperation with two partner universities and other activities of bilateral cooperation. The HEI delegation also participated in the 8th Education Expo, which was dedicated to digital education.
Partner university Ningbo University of Finance and Economics (NUFE) also organised a separate event on the latest trends in education, science and research as part of the Education Forum. It was at this event that a member of the HEI delegation and project manager of the project "Challenges of Circular Society in Economy 4.0" - Ing. Marián Kováč, PhD., on the topic "The impact of the challenges of the circular economy on the business sector“.
In the framework of this contribution, information about the project itself, its objectives and expected outputs was presented to the participants of the educational forum. At the same time, however, the professional background of the issues related to risk management in the context of the implementation of circular economy measures was also presented.
As a result of the visits, meetings and negotiations, cooperation was also agreed in the area of the project, namely:
- Preparation of cooperation on international scientific research projects focusing on the circular economy and circular economy.
We look forward to the next academic year when we expect to submit proposals for new research projects on circular themes, which we consider to be an important part of the dissemination and exploitation of the results of this project.
